Foaling Facilities
The foaling facilities are designed with the safety and comfort of visiting and resident mares and foals. We offer large, comfortable stalls and skilled foaling attendants available 24 hours per day to assist your mare and ensure the safest foaling possible.
Foal Imprinting and Daily Handling
Newborn foals are imprinted at birth. All foals are haltered the first day and led everywhere along with the mare with two handlers to ensure their safety and build confidence. This daily handling helps to develop a safe, strong and confident foal. Grooming and feet handling becomes a natural part of your foal's daily routine.
Foaling Exam and Vaccinations
Newborn foals and mares are given post-foaling exams by our on site veterinarian to ensure a healthy beginning for your foal and confirm your mares well being post-foaling.
Low Stress Weaning and Socialization
We also handle the weaning process to ensure a low stress experience for your mare and foal. You may leave your mare and foal here from birth through weaning or choose to bring one or both of them to our facility for weaning.
Weanling and Yearling pastures are available to our customers with the option of year round boarding care for your mares and foals. Horses may be boarded in stalls or out on pasture which includes complete care (vaccinations, hoof care and grooming).
